GATE –  Market Heartbeat Time Cycles

Get AHEAD of the Market -- This GATE function will enable you to identify the heartbeat of the market with pinpoint accuracy - 65%-85% in most cases using weekly swing information with minimal tolerance.

To find a cycle - this function in GATE allows you to test a range of starting dates using a range of cycles and identify (rank) the results in order of success.

There are a number of functions in GATE that will assist you in finding cycles. This function allows you to test a Cycle (past performance) and be ahead of the market when the setup occurs (see example below).

This GATE functions allows you to test any Time Cycle using any start date (by default GATE uses the birth date).GATE will check the heartbeat (steady cycle) dates against previous swings made in the market and report on the accuracy. This allows you to evaluate whether a particular cycle is working - that is --have any Swings been made on this cycle leading into and/or out of a target date. Examples

In this example - we are using a GATE that was highlighted a potential (probability) cycle in the Day Count Calendar.

Note: GATE provides a number of functions to identify Cycles -- One method comes from the Calendar which shows when a Swing is made on the square of a number. An important High was made 4901 (70 x 70) days from the start of the contract -(See Cycle Test example below).

In this example - I am using GATE to identify possible Market Heartbeats lead into and out of the March 2003 Low.

The list below is an extract (top10) of the cycles found. Each of these can then be tested (see next screen) to determine the best fit.

Using the 64 day cycle starting on the 13thMar 2003 -- NOTE the high accuracy rate with a small tolerance. The tolerance can be factored into your Trading Plan.
