GATE – Segments of the Market

W D Gann teaches .. Everything that is has been in the past --
Find a roadmap (or pattern) from previous activity in a market.and follow this in the current Market
Study - how your market trades into (or out of) a Top, or how it trades into (or out of) a bottom - is there a pattern, will it be repeated.
Study - how your market trades into a public holiday or out of a public holiday or annual event - are there patterns?, will they repeat?
These segments take only a few minutes, if not seconds, to extract ... ready for you to analyze them - Trade with Knowledge.

Highlights

Roadmap's: W.D. Gann taught that time cycles and price ranges repeats. This function allows you to extract past segments of the market so that they can be to examined for repeating patterns and cycles. Once a past market segment has been identified it can then be used as a Road Map for the current market.

Seasonal Dates (Public Holidays, Gann Seasonal Dates, etc). Segments of the market can also be used to study how the market trades into or out an annual event - for example into or out of Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, or any other annual events that may cause a reaction in the market.

Special Events Such as Elections, Interest Rate movements, International events, Natural events (floods, droughts, etc. Any segment of the markets can be extracted and studied in an easy to use selection menu.

Segments of the market can be used to quickly and easily extract Segments of the Market based on:

  • An annual repeating event (such as public holidays or Tax lodgments (invest on tax returns)
  • Gann’s seasonal dates
  • All/any Swing Tops or All Swing Bottoms - study trading into or out of a swing
  • Special events – such as Interest Rate movements, Change of Government (elections), etc
